Breath & Rest

Breath & Rest This class will explore a few different types of breath work, guided mediation and gentle movement to prepare the body for rest. It will be a slow-moving practice. The breath is so important and this practice we will bring focus to different types of breathwork.

Downshift

Downshift (slow flow & restorative) is a practice created to move from the brain to the heart. Slow flow will be a gentle yoga flow with a few standing poses to connect breath and movement, then moving to a restorative practice.

Yin

Yin is a practice about stillness, both in the mind and body. This practice we use the breath to guide us into the stillness. Poses are held for longer periods of time, but it’s always about listening to your body and honoring what needs are being requested.

Calm & Yoga Nidra

Slow down with a 30-minute Calm yoga (gentle movements preparing the body for rest) then followed by 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra, the yoga of sleep.
Bring props, as many as you'd like to this practice.
Blankets, Eye pillows, Yoga bolsters, pillows, cushions, and socks. Any way to support the body as well as make yourself comfortable.

Sound Bath

This practice will be as restorative as possible, very few poses. Finding rest and being immersed in a sound bath of the crystal singing bowls. Bring as many props to make yourself as comfortable as possible. All levels, very gentle practice. 

Yoga & Therapeutic Group Talk

Join Alesha (LMSW, Licensed Therapist) & Daniele (YTT-200,Trauma-Informed) for an evening of yoga (30 minute practice) and group conversation. This evening we hope to provide support and comfort as we bring forth conversation.
